But always thought it probably wouldn't have enough water. You could take out at the Lesterville access or at Twin Rivers Landing (fee area). Used to do the middle fork quite a bit decades ago and the Black itself all the time. Of course, the East fork goes to Johnson Shut Ins.

I rarely do the Black since about 5 years ago. A couple older couples got into an altercation with a bunch of drunk and drug-impaired good 'ol boys. Well, local law enforcement and the prosecutor swept it all under the rug. If not for a local newspaper, they would have gotten away with it with no one the wiser. Still, the perpetrators received only a light slap on the wrist. So, we only go there rarely and "Armed."

Big Creek will be a little low, but doable, as will the Little St. Haven't done either in several years, but should be paddleable. Have a good time, wish I wasn't going to be stuck at work! But I'll get an overnighter on the Current NEXT week.
