Hey anyone down for a big get together on mt. Island lake before all the boats take over. 70s this weekend but I cant get a boat before then so I think next weekend sounds really good. Edisto paddle still sounds fun if theres any sc paddlers around. Hmu its time to paddle.

Charlotte paddlers to petition the Charlotte-Mech. parks and recs to resurrect the Latta launch and the Mtn Island challenge.
They were both good races with a decent participation

In the winter, Baldpaddler & I often put-in at Neck Rd and go upstream past the sandbar for an hour or two, then head back. We often see canoers and kayakers out on the water there all year round...

Parks and Rec to plead for a resurrection of the races. To date, I've gotten no reply...
