BCKC New Year's Day Paddle

I'm leading a NY Day trip for Baltimore Canoe and Kayak Club. Any p-netters want to join in, I'll be glad to have you along.

BCKC are mostly whitewater paddlers, so I'll be looking for someplace close to Baltimore for an easy whitewater paddle. Water conditions permitting, it'll be the Lower Gunpowder, with fall backs TBD.

Start 2013 with a good paddle stroke, if not on this trip, somewhere convenient to you. Be safe.

I'm leading a NYD trip in the SE part of NC - blackeyed pea appetizer to be served on the river (actually creek).

Just a little "Southern" suggestion for ya. Consuming blackeyed peas on NYD is thought to bring good luck in the coming year. Have a great trip, Chip!
