I usually work most weekends in October....and hate once again to miss a good time on the water and around the campfire!
I have been able to combine some paddling with work trips though.
At 20 years and 300,000+ miles I retired the toyota minivan from work trips and now just drive it around town. I got a used full size cargo van and shortly after that a used 9' kayak to go inside......it has been a great combo! Plenty of room for work gear, the kayak, and me.
I wish you all a super time with good weather, and I look forward to seeing the pictures!
