I live in Roberts wi and am a 26 year old married male. I like to kayak just about anywhere except white water. I have only been kayaking for a couple years. My wife kayaks also, but does not enjoy the 6-7 hour outings like I do. So with that being said I end up kayaking by my self. It would be great to meet local people or groups to paddle with and learn from. My car is capable of carrying 2 boats, and I dont have any problem transporting your boat. Would love to find some friends to paddle local lakes and rivers.

I'm in central Minnesota & paddle mostly whitewater. See you just want to do touring. there's a few paddling clubs in your area. Some do WW, some touring. Some both. Here's a link to clubs in your area. There are other clubs not listed here.Just google up wisc paddling clubs.

Thanks for the link. But unfortunately those clubs are about half a state away. I am looking for a group of local people as kayaking alone isn't always the most fun.
