Thanks again for responding Don. It sounds like a good group to belong to, except the part about driving to Oshawa, then turning around and coming back this way. Maybe sometime you are going north of Oshawa.?? It is so frustrating for me to be living in the land of lakes and can't find anyone to go with. I used to go by myself all the time until I broke my ankle (not kayaking). But it sure makes me think of all the isolated lakes I have kayaked.
