charleston West Virginia anyone?

Hello, 31 year old male here. I am looking for people to paddle with around Charleston, West Virginia. I have a 16 foot canoe, and an 8 foot kayak. I paddle the Elk River mostly but want to make trips to see other places. I enjoy exploring, fishing, and camping.

you should consider joining the west virginia wildwater association. While most of that paddling community does do whitwater there are lots of folks who paddle more mild than wild stretches. Their website is wvwa.net
Another good group in Charleston WV is the Coal River Group. They host regular trips. Google em.

I myself like exploring some of the creeks- like the class II Buffalo Creek ( a trib. of the elk). Hope to see you out and about sometime.

Hey I am in Northern Virginia and fish and camp on the Shenandoah all the time. I know all the prime smallmouth places and even have a little island I camp on.
