Try Pure Water Paddlers, they are based out of Eau Claire but I think they do trips all over northern WI. http://www.purewaterpaddlers.com/ Met a few members at Inland Sea Symposium last year, really nice guys. BTW- you're only an hour from the Northern Highlands, lots of beautiful lakes to explore, many with paddle and\or portage in campsites. Pallette Lake is my favorite :)
