  River camping - difficult
Posted by: PamThePaddler on Jan-05-12 10:38 AM (EST)

River camping not possible because of all the private land. Rob and I have looked at the National Park campground, all they have is a pit toilet, and the campsites are all concrete. I personally don't think that Twin Bridges bathrooms or showers are that bad, I can't speak about the cabins because I only camp out in our tent. This isn't Pulltite or Round Spring and yes I think people are spoiled, remember you are camping and not everything is going to be perfect. I think one of the main reasons we used Twin Bridges was because of it's location, shuttles are pretty easy, plus we were able to negotiate a lower camping rate with the owner. For myself and Rob we have no problem staying at Twin Bridges.
