Missouri River Freedom Race
63 mile Canoe and Kayak Race
Lamine to Jefferson City Missouri
9:00am, Saturday, July 7th
The Missouri River Freedom Race is a 63 mile race that will challenge even the toughest of competitors. Racers must battle heat, humidity, and unrelenting headwinds as they make their way from Lamine to Jefferson City. Though the price paid by pain is worth it for the beautiful scenery, and an excellent post-race ceremony at the finish line.
Finishing at Joe Wilsonís Serenity Point (literally touching the Noren boat ramp) will host the finish line, where there will be a free post-race meal for all racers, awards ceremony, $1200 in cash prizes, and a raffle with over $1000 worth of gear and goodies including an Epic Carbon Mid-wing, a custom Thetis Single Blade, and nutrition products from Hammer and Spiz, plus clothing products and paddle accessories.
