I am looking for a trip to head down south for Redfish. Any helpful advice would be helpful. I would like to camp and fish. Never have done it before but really want to.

The Beaufort, SC area has some great camping at Hunting Island State Park. It also has som eo fthe best Kayak Fishing oportunities for Redfish anywhere.

Rockport, Aransas Pass, Baffin Bay are some great redfish hotspots in Texas. Or, if you want to hit further south, the Brownsville/Port Isabel/South Padre area will give you good redfish action as well as mangrove snapper and even a chance at snook.
