Fishing from Kayaks and Canoes New Topic Printer Friendly Version

As a company, Old Town has always produced good quality products, but so have some other companies. In recent years, Old Town quality seems to have gone downhill a bit, but they are still a good company.

But...I think you select watercraft only in small part by the company that makes them. It's a lot more in the individual watercraft. And the reason I say "watercraft" is because the watercraft you are looking at is NOT a canoe.

And...it greatly depends upon what kind of fishing you are doing as to whether that Camden is a good choice or not. If you are fishing lakes or inshore saltwater, it might be a very good choice. If you are fishing streams or rivers, in my opinion a kayak like that is inferior to a canoe, even though kayaks are quite popular among anglers.
