There are a bunch of fishing canoes on the market and old town is well known. With that being said, check around. I saw a canoe by Golden Hawk Canoes at a sport show recently and liked what I saw. they are wider and seem very stable. I spoke with a trapper that had just purchased his second after 15 years and he swore by them. Do your research and I'm sure you can find the canoe thats right for you. Good luck.
