I don't own them and won't. All I know is that I have never seen a Scotty or a RAM rod holder fail and that every rod holder I have seen fail was a Berkeley. Also, I have seen a lot more Scotty and RAM holders used than Berkeley's, so that means that it's been a fairly high percent of failure. Given that there are readily available products at roughly the same price point that have not failed despite much more wide-spread use, I've never seen the point of investigating various Berkeley models. - Big D
