that will catch bigger fish, and you'll catch some bigger ones in amongst all the little ones. And in that river, you'll catch little ones on big fish lures. The last day of my first trip to the John Day, my thumbs were so sore from lipping bass that I was actually tired of catching the smaller ones, so I put on the biggest lure I had in my box, much bigger than what I'd normally use for smallies. Still caught just about as many little ones, but did catch the second biggest fish of the trip on it as well.
