phone/mp3 player case

Just wondering what people use or recommend for a phone/mp3 player. I want one that would be water proof and float. I'd like one that I could still hook up head phones even while its in the case and still water proof. Any suggestions?

You can plug the headphones in and still be waterproof but they don't float. My Lifecases was $70, a guy at work found an identical knockoff for $7

From pelican for free, just to try out I guess. I used it for my wallet a couple times when I didn't pack a dry bag. Wallet barely fit, but this box had the foam insert for an iPod and a waterproof connector through the box for headphones. I gave it to a young friend. I think if you look up pelican you'll find this case.

I do not care to use my phone for music on the water. This neckband mp3 player seems to fit the bill. Due to hard water here in the north I have been able to run it through all the paces yet, but I do believe it is the answer for my needs.
I guess I just don't get it when some|

feel the need to listen to music while paddling. For me, being on the water is a form of relaxation while listening to the sounds/music of nature. But then, I didn't grow up in a culture of noise and thinking I had to be entertained constantly, just because the advertisers said it would enhance my life. To me, fresh air and nature are much more pleasant, along with spending time with friends.
I tend to only use it when practicing|

FreeStyle moves on quiet flatwater such as a pond or lagoon. I never listen to music when paddling rivers and such (which is most of the time). I, like you, enjoy the sounds of nature and the water, too. Sometimes the music is just a fun change of pace.
