Wow anybody else getting the anime soft porn pop up off to the right called "League of Angels" - better not log in at lunch hour any more.... looks like it shifted to Mitchel Paddles for now.

Yeah, been seeing that for a few days.

Sure beats the ad for toenail-fungus treatment though. That one makes me wanna barf, and it's not easy to get that reaction from me.
  Nope, not here

  context based ads
Posted by: Peter-CA on Jan-21-14 8:14 PM (EST)
Some of the ads are context based, and use your browser history to determine what ads to show. For example, I was just looking at hotels in Taipei for a tradeshow for a client, and have been shown ads for an Asian hotel reservation site. Guess I haven't been looking at sites which would trigger this angel site, as I haven't seen it.
Should be chemistry related then ...

I don't think this site can pick up my browser history but who knows.
Some, but not sure about all

Yes, if I search for info regarding some topic and check a few sites, a lot of times ads for that topic will show up in that space. Many of the ads though can't possibly be related to my computer history, especially when I think about how many of them also show up when I log in from work, since my work computer sees an extremely limited selection of internet topics (League of Angels shows up when I'm here via my work computer too).
  Not here

I have Adblock Plus installed on my Firefox browser. Does a good job of screening out most ads.
You don't want to screen out that one

You need to make it your screen saver

but a persistent link on the right insists I must paddle Michigan.

Not getting anything more interesting.
  Dang ...

she must have figured out I am a middled aged pot bellied gnome ....wrong target demographic .... has not appeared again .
Maybe a subtle but important difference
Posted by: Guideboatguy on Jan-22-14 5:10 PM (EST)
... because I understand that an "overfed, long-haired, leaping gnome" would be quite attractive to such types.
  every kind of girl

  Those Bodacious Angels
Posted by: canoeswithduckheads on Jan-22-14 7:38 PM (EST)
Those bodacious angels,
in leagues of their own!
Thus they'll jump for Joy,
every leaping gnome!

Knowing they've a point,
least atop their hairy head,
when she tosses halo in,
little mischief's overfed.

You're demographic may tarry... vary.

And Souris River canoes at the top of EVERY page. At my age I prefer sexy canoes to sexy bodies anyway (LOL)!
  "hottest MMORPG"!
Posted by: slushpaddler on Jan-22-14 8:48 PM (EST)
I had to google "MMORPG". It was disappointing.

Action Figure Acronyms
Rule Computer Empires
Massive Mams Override
Reason Past G-string hides.

And wouldn't a mass of reasonable multi-players scatter from on-line RPG's, regardless of titillating temptations?
  ad block plus

blocks all ads except for the one or two text ads. It's currently blocking or removing 4 from this page. strips all the side bar ads from most sites including about 50 from your average facebook page.
