Shop asked me to "do what i can do' about getting to work this weekend getting our military helicopter product out the door, so here i am...13 gallons of gas in jugs for the generator and snowblower at home, and chains for the truck so i can get back there. Got some new backcountry skis i would like to try out too. Been awhile since i had any time off (ooorah) and maybe I'll get some tomorrow, after digging out.
Good luck yourself.|

is that we can stop being jealous of Minnesota and especially all that misplaced snow in Missouri and Oklahoma and Kansas.

Wipe the cobwebs off of de snowshoes! Just a quick storm, nothing to it! What really sucks is all the rivers are frozen over! Way too early for that!
Glad that everything is frozen over|

It made the trip through the woods and across the wetlands to cut the tree less soggy than I had feared.
Just got back|

from skiing in that area just east of Sandy Creek! AWESOME! Powder knee to thigh deep! And fluffy, just blowing over your shoulders as you plunged down a fairly radical incline! Most of the ski area (Snow Ridge in Turin, NY)
I'm jealous , but glad for ya ...|

on the cross country skis when i got home. Couple laps in the yard then a couple laps around the lake. 12 degrees, still in my jeans and sweatshirt, sweating good on the second lap. Same muscles as canoe poling, I love it.

We used to use Ash cans.
I do I do|
Posted by: kayamedic on Dec-15-13 8:12 AM (EST)
but the ash can is now expensive. We use one for our bird seed. Rodents just destroy plastic.
Good Morning, Jack|

I don't want to risk the wrath of God or karma but this morning will definitely be 'bikeable' here in the piedmont. It rained most all day yesterday and the predictors predict sunshine today. Hope my 'friends' don't inflict too much pain.
