I arrived Wed night to get set up before the rain. Thursday am was great untill 10:00. Chip had arrived during the night. Ed,Wes,And Jim all arrived around 9:00am. It then rained for 30 hrs. We ate, drank and told stories during this time. Friday afternoon We had a visit from a kayak salesman from Indiana. He was a cool guy to talk to and broke up the long afternoon. Sat morn We had sunshine and warmer temps. We had a great river trip. Wes and Ed caught a few fish. Tom,Moby,Molly and I played on the river features as much as We could.

And as time goes by so slowly, the melody that haunts will unchain from your gray matter and memories of Raystown will become the sole inspiration for your trip report.

CWDH getting a recipe for a seafood boil via cell phone from his teenage daughter. Somehow he had all the fixin's, but didn't have the proportions. Typical!

Some Mac's lines of, "refried confusion is making itself clear," and, "just need a little brain salad surgery" seemed to have crept into the disproportionate, flaccid folds of my Julia's Other Child Lowest of Low Countries Cookbook memory.
