Be ye faire wench or foul, barnacle crusted blood curdlin' seawater veined scalawag or scurvy landcrab bound for plank, noose or sandbar, 'tis a day for celebratin' seafarin’ deed and word.
Or the Black Spot for ye then ... dead men tell no tales. The cutthroat hatchet man standin' right behind ye stands ready and at his request to cleave your noggy head we will gladly acquiesce !

I think one of the reasons I'm not a sports fan dates back (yes, way, way, way back) to when I was a kid and used to sit with my Uncle Tony and listen to Milwaukee Braves games with him on the radio. Uncle Tony had multiple sclerosis and was house-bound. No such thing as handicapped-accessible back then which meant that life for a wheel chair bound person was very restricted. I was rather heartbroken for him when the Braves, of which he was a great fan, deserted and went south (WayFar South in more ways than geographic, IMHO) and became the Atlanta Braves. BOO!
