It was completely docile, and Colleen, our youngest grandchild kept wnting to pat it.
Each one got a chance to try and hold it, but it was the slipperest critter that I have ever picked up.
Even getting it's front legs between my fingers it would just slide out.
We only dared pick it up no more than a foot so we wouldn't hurt it when it slid out.
Supposedly their only defense from other critters is a toxic substance in their skin, so needless to say we all washed up carefully after handling.
On that same day, Colleen found a beautiful EFT and of course we had our resident water snakes in attrendance most of the weekend.
