Comin' down hard right now!

Ah's jus' got off de Ramapo River in nort Joisey wit some o' de hardier HRCKC members (all canooists, of course). Only one pinned boat in a strainer wit a swim, so it wuzn't too bad. Wit snow coverin' us head ta foot, icicles hangin' fro' aar noses, big smiles on aar mugs... it truly wuz a great endin' ta winter.
No green snow fer St. Paddy's Day but wez did leave some "yeller" snow along de river banks.

Got'ta break out de snow shovel once more.

FE

(Reckon' ah'll wait 'till sunrise ta take me canoo off me truck.)

if God is pissed at Joisey. First the hurricane, then they omit Chris Christy from the CPAC conference, and now dropping snow.

Nothing but rain and brief period of sleet here is south central PA. Nothing is laying or sticking. Melting as it falls.

Hey Elmo, what's up with that brand-new shiny truck of yours? It is really in need of wheel chocks when parked on a slope already, or is it just that old habits die hard?

Perhaps we ought to fire the woodchuck.

He lied! Someone, on a news station also suggested shooting that critter, but I say, "Serves you right for believing a critter who lives in the ground."
Hang in there. We also had a snow storm here in mid Michigan today, but the end of the week will be in the 40's and I am hitting the water.

  Might as well go paddle

Group headed up to the Pere Marquette (main & Big South Branch) this weekend. Snow up there should make the boats drag easier around the log jams on the BSB.
