  I'm on the wrong coast...

Nice to see that boat paddled in the environment it was intended for.

So jealous of the waves and places you folks have to play in on the left coast...

on E-ENE swell. Some interesting spots, especially on the ESE tip.

  Size & Weight?

How does the leg and foot room of the Hammer compare to the Delphin? You did mention it is heavy, which is to be expected - how heavy? The Delphin is over 60 lb in the triple layer layup I got and is the main thing that stops me from taking it out more often (and grab a 35lb 9 foot long WW boat instead)...

  Weight and outfitting

I am not sure of the weight, but it is 50+(I think??54) and have heard the production model will be heavier. Many people including myself believe they are going to loose allot sales because they decided to go for more hatches rather then less weight, though I do like the heavy layup for rock play. However the boat is so responsive that the weight is not a major factor for "me" even though I wish they would have gone lighter.
I have heard they went for more hatches/(heavier) to make it appealing to the recreational market, but in my opinion that market is going to by other boats and the surf/rock garden market is not going to buy it because of the weight.

As far as foot room, I have heard they are going to change the outfitting on the production model so I did not address this.
But currently, I have a size 12 and and there is a wide stiffening strip going up the center of the boat that my heel hits on and my feet are at an angle with my toes hitting the upper corner of the hull. I have heard complaints about this from everyone who had paddled the boat. Currently the foot brace dose not go far enough forward to do anything about this. I can't speculate what the final version set up will be, I just don't know.

  Thanks (n/m)
