Can someone recommend a good "PUT-IN SITE" in K.C. MO. for the beginning of a Missouri River canoe trip?

Lewis and Clark River Front Park has a ramp where the Kaw empties into the Missouri. There's also a ramp 4 miles down from there at Mo. River Front Park but, as I remember it, surroundings were a little sketchy.

I think that's where the Missouri 340 race begins. http://www.google.com/maps/place/Kaw+Point+Riverfront+Park/@39.116416,-94.610499,14z/data=!4m2!3m1!1s0x87c0f11adb5f8b57:0x12e0a5e342c92339?hl=en
La Benite Park is another good one and easier to find. It's downstream from KC just off Hwy 281 North. http://www.google.com/maps/place/Liberty+Bend+Conservation+Area/@39.165066,-94.395068,14z/data=!4m2!3m1!1s0x87c1018f9678b481:0xab0c158a06e3b3a9?hl=en
