The Perception Conduit 13 is a few hundred dollars less than the Perception Carolina 12. Is anyone experienced with both? What are the differences?

The Carolina has perimeter lines, the Conduit does not. I also believe the seat is a slight upgrade, and I personally prefer the footbraces in the Carolina over the Conduit. Other than that, you're right, not a huge difference.

A bunch of people are about to post that you should spend the same money on a better quality used boat. While they could be right, I'd say to do what you want.

Things like perimeter lines make a difference in self-rescue, so where you plan to paddle matters.
