Pie in the hatch .......

A kayaking friend brought a home baked pie nicely
packaged and safely wrapped in her kayak hatch.
I helped her at the take-out, she went on shore,
I yanked the kayak cockpit up on my shoulder,
only to be met with screams about inverted pie :-)
Kayaks and pies don't mix, if others carry your kayak.
