  Mariner 12.5 Propel

Hello. I am thinking of getting a Mariner 12.5 Propel. I have tried to find info about the seating..Haven't found anything.

I am 5'6" and when I watch videos on YouTube which are all guys they seem to have to extend their legs all the way to pedal. I don't have a local place to test one out and wanted to know if someone around my height has tried one and if the distance from the seat and the pedals is ok for my height. Or is the pedals or seat adjustable.

I'm kind of torn between this one and a Hobie...I like this Mariner 12.5 Propel set up just a little more than the Hobie. But if the seating is to far for me I'll have to go with the Hobie.

Any info would be great :)

Can't help you on the sizing, but California Kayaker Magazine ran a comparison review of the Mariner Propel vs Hobie Mirage Drive back in Summer of 2010 (issue #2). May be worth reading to understand the pros and cons of each. Can be read online for free at http://www.calkayakermag.com/magazine.html
