Take a box rail, like this http://www.tractorsupply.com/national-hardware-reg-5116-box-rail-galvanized-12-ft--3551872 and mount it above the truck bed so that it sticks out over the back of the truck. Then, get a hanger like this http://www.tractorsupply.com/national-hardware-reg-5022-hanger-with9-bolt-3551848 And insert it in the box rail. Attach a block and tackle to the carrier. Now, you connect the block and tackle as close to the middle of the boat as you can and slide it onto the bed using the rollers on the hanger. I've always wanted to try this out!
