I applaud most of your article, and already implement many of your suggestions. One other reason not to use palm oil is that in places like Indonesia palm plantations are being planted in what used to be rain forest and animal habitat. Palm plantations are a major factor in reduction of rain forests. One thing more, soy oil is extracted by the chemical hexane. There tends to be some level of hexane residue in soy oil. Soy is difficult to digest unless fermented as in Tempe and Miso. Many people react to soy products, especially the unfermented kind and need to use other protein sources for plant meals. Unprocessed cheeses have been a dietary element for thousands of years. Goat cheese is delicious, as are sheep milk and raw cow milk cheeses.
