  Staying hydrated

This article contains a number of good points. I did not realize heavy sweating could cause the loss of a gallon of water/hour! Another cheap, collapsable water container, similar to the wine bladder is the bladder found inside Starbucks take-out boxes of coffee. These aluminized mylar bladders can be cleaned and reused like the wine bladders for those who abstain from the consumption of alcoholic beaverages. It may retain a slight coffee taste but that is a small price for a free container (about a gallon in volume) and will not be noticed by coffee lovers! For filtering large particles from my water, I like to use the GSL H2J0! It allows one to make coffee in their Nalagene type water bottle, then doubles as a filter when filling bottles from streams, lakes or collected rainwater. It stores conveniently under the cap of the water bottle when not in use.
