It would have been more helpful had the author been more specific in the sizes of the grater blades. My graters have 6 or so sizes from about 2 inches wide to small sharp points. Pictures of the grater would help.

A picture is needed. I am not even sure what type of tool he is using. I have several different grating and slicing tools and don't know what he is referring to.
