I almost picked up a second wok to use as you described but it had wooden handles that I would want to change. Other than that I agree...good suggestion. I am going to take mine out next time and try some variations on themes...scrambled eggs, scones, quick soups and stews, even baking (turn lid upside down, put small dough balls around base, cover lid with coals...problem is...my lid is lightweight aluminum....would have to find large, flat lid or tray to cover over top...worthy of experimentation...thanks for idea... TOM
