  Glad you're back!

Jerry, I'm glad you're back on the water again. How are you liking the Grand Slam? I bought mine about the same time you did, but for me it's a first boat. I really love it, and am also looking forward to the fall in Florida. I'm not much of a fisherman - my father always told me you had to be smarter than the fish :-D
I didn't get in much paddling this summer either, due to arthritis in my knee and a 6-week series of shots to relieve that. Now that's behind me and I'm eager to get to paddling again!

Jerry:
Thanks for the encouragement. I will be having lumbar fusion in a couple of weeks. I hope that I will be able to get back on the water in the spring, my surgen says to expect to be out of work for six months. Have fun.

  Better high than low

Hey John,

My disc was high, base of the neck. Honestly, the neck muscles were what hurt after furgery, and even that wasn't bad. The Myleogram prior to the final diagnosis was the beast.

I didn't paddle my GS very long, but it's a nice ride. Certainly quicker than my Fisherman, but not as nimble as my Mofo. It's good to be back in the game !
