I think that the article was written with mild humor and a sense of adventure. Of course it is not suggesting that campers strip down at the middle of a public beach for a skinny dip. The area in Ontario has many secluded areas as well as summer camps. With caution and awareness to the surrounding a pleasant skinny dip can be very satisfying. My daughter attends one of those tripping camps in Canada and they all go "au natural" in the lake for "wash dips"(biodegradable soap only). It has been the tradition for many years. No doubt those girls will have a great story to tell about the "naked man" when they return to camp and for years to come. It is part of the lore that makes camping such an adventure.
