Sage advice

I was given this advice from an Outfitter when discussing my car-topping (actually pickup truck with cap topping) system. Anything that is not riveted to the boat must be removed and stowed in the vehicle. For my sit-on-top kayak, that means the seat, compass, and anything under the deck rigging. A flying oil-filled compass can kill the driver behind you almost as easily as the boat would.
