I agree that we've softened our risks and exposure...Someone else feeling they need to protect me from myself. We slept in Baker Tents with no floors and thin Dacron filled sleeping bags in the winter! Our troop learned how to get by...so instead of surviving in harsher conditions,its fun to thrive in them!
