  Bike helmets

I race bicycles,so I am used to wearing a helmet,as the rules require it.Whenever I paddle WW,I wear my bike helmet,and don't even know I have it on..Light,vented,and very secure...I always think of my friend who flipped in a narrow,tight fitting boat in shallow rapids,and went downstream for about 100 feet with his helmet banging off the bottom,until he got it rolled.
That woulda been ugly w/o a helmet...
