I will definitely have to agree with the other posters who are aware of big-box stores like Wal-Mart. Not only are they the cause of America's thirst for low-cost, cheaply made products that has us munching like cows on the disease of global corporatism it also represents poor land-use decisions that aids our dependence on cars. The large parking lots that stores like Wal-Mart requires also creates greater pollutant runoff to our countries streams and watersheds where all our gas dripping SUV's are parked to load our precious "savings" and take them home to our unconscious consumer castles. Not to mention poor working conditions, environmental fall-out in Asia (and the World as it is systemic) and the ongoing struggles of Tibet. Keep on paddling and keep on living a conscious lifestyle.
