  fishing lore passed on?

leaving trash, glass beer bottles, crushed for extra points, on the beach or bridge, fishing line strung from bushes, trees, dead fish tossed around, a pile of feces somewhere upwind - all common traits passed from one generation of fishermen to the next: no need to teach this, it comes naturally.

Don't know how old you are but that won't win anything how/when i grew up. Carry in and carry out more..

This is definitely way too common. The lore, then is to pass along the 'leave it cleaner than you find it' attitude. I always take an extra trash bag or two with me to clean up around the launch site (if paddling) or whereever I'm fishing.
