I have been watching these new boats too. I have been paddling a traditional SINK for about a year now. I got a chance to test drive the Native Magic and the Ultimate. I liked them both. I think the Ultimate was my favorite because of its hull design and resulting stabilility. I also think that it tracked much better even with the skeg retracted.

If you are a Kayak guy or a Canoe guy, you owe it to yourself to give these hybrids a look.
