Good point about the abdominal thrusts before doing the breathing--it does make sense, and I'll do some research on it.

The info provided seems to be from the American Heart Association, not the American Red Cross, two different organizations.

I am an American Heart Association Basic Life Support (AED/CPR) Instructor, as well as a NREMT and WEMT.

I'm working on including CPR into my sea kayak instruction offerings too (ACA Open Water Instructor, and BCU Coach 2 Sea).

Great Products from the Buyers' Guide:

PFD's (Life Jackets)

Rescue / Throw Bags

2-3 Canoe/Kayak Trailer

2-Boat Free-Standing

Hoister
