Hi from Australia. A few years ago I started a Nursery (Plants) here on our island and we discovered that there are large ants -about 1inch long that jump and bite. By accident, we discovered that by using Vicks Vapour Rub on the bites it stopped the burn of the bite. We also tried it on babies, children, older people etc and it stopped the burning and itching of mosquito, midgies, sandflies, bees,ants, and wasp stings. Now I carry a small jar of Vicks in my kayak and car first aide kits. As it is in a small plastic jar it is easy to carry and won't break.
