Here's a recipe I learned from a military survial specialist and the amounts are specific, NOT (thank you Borat). Grab a wad of drier lint - cotton balls also work. Get a glop of petroleum jelly. Smoosh it all together working it in and soaking the lint fully. Cram it into a container, my container of choice is an empty film canister.
To start a fire take a large pinch and shove it under a pile of kindling witha little tail sticking out. This lights easily with a spark or flame. Happy arsoning!

Right, among many,many ways to start a fire.. I practice with stuff all the time. The egg carton, wax and saw dust just took three items one has around the house and recycles them into a usable camp tool.
