All demos are not equal

Went to my first this past weekend. While I had a good time trying out new fishing kayaks, the demo pool was only about 40 ft long. The two Mirage drives I tried felt great, but about the time I got up speed, it was time to stop and turn. With the Quest and WS Ride I tried, both convential sit on tops, the pool length told me little about handling characteristics. I left with almost as many questions as I answered. For now, I'll stick with my OT Loon 138 sit inside.
