  REFLECTIVE KAYAKER

I'm trying to send you a photo of my new reflective paddles! Thank you for the article. We, CHOTA Canoe and Kayak Club, go on full moon paddles and this is just great! I bought a 2" x 24" strip of tape and put 12" on each paddle. I thought 2" was not wide enough, so I sliced it into 1 inch strips and staggered/bargello'd it and now have 4" width. I can't wait for the next full moon. I was temped to go out into the apt. parking lot and run around with my paddles in the street lights. : -)

Hi, yes, making the 2" wider by stripping or what ever is a good idea. I think you can be quite creative with the designs...wondering why no one is marketing that as a serviceable form of kayak safety?
