This is a small area as mentioned above. I don't know why the Stampers Bay landing is not included on this site. Stampers Bay Landing is very close to Twiggs Ferry, about 2 miles away, and can be seen on this satellite map. It is just to the left across from the small island, Berkeley Island. Stampers Bay is a large public landing with plenty of parking and is often used by motor boat operators. I cannot think of any reason why paddlers could not use it also. There are no facilities. The Piankatank River is beautiful, clean and wonderful for paddling as there are many creeks and coves to explore. The shoreline is heavily wooded and hilly in most areas.
To add to my previous comment: Stampers Bay Landing can be found next to Camp Piankatank on Rt. 630.
No facilities. Limited parking on shoulder of road.

Regarding Stampers Bay Landing which is near Twiggs Ferry but not included on this site, is free and open to the public with ample parking. Found on Rt.630 adjacent to Camp Piankatank, across from Berkeley Island just West of Twiggs Ferry.
