From ramp go south to open lake, then go left (SE) along bluffs, paddle approx. 2 miles past 4 small coves to large cove (Waresha Creek) then go north into cove. Creek Y's, both creeks are nice paddles, bluffs, rocks, etc. round trip = approx 10 miles. Fishing is supposed to be good. Bird watchers will be rewarded. We saw a Painted Bunting + many others. Eagles during the winter. Bring your binoc's

Not a lot of places to take out for rest stops, mostly rocky, bluffs. Once you get to Waresha cove, cross to east side of cove for 1/2 mile of sandy beach areas.
