The launch site was updated in 2010 and now consists of a floating dock with two paddlecraft launch cradles equipped with rollers. The launch is available for handicapped and general use. Paddlers at this location will be able to access the east channel of the upper Niagara River where they visit a restored marsh, observe an active heron rookery on nearby Frog Island or relax on the sandy beaches of Strawberry Island. This launch site is a part of the Paddles Up Niagara Blueway Trail established by the Niagara River Greenway Commission.
