This is a county park, located close to SR 267
8046 US 98, Crawfordvile, Fl 32327
(30 12 11 68N & 84 10 40 87W) phone: 850-925-4530.
Has a dozen or so RV/tent sites, bath house and boat ramp into the St. Marks river. There is a funky restaurant close by. You can paddle upstream about 5 miles to the springs, downstream about 5 to town of St. Marks (another funky place) and then several miles out to the open Gulf. Fairly easy paddling, some tidal and springs effect, but nothing serious except under exceptional weather/tidal occurrences. Can be good fishing and wildlife viewing (see St. Marks National Wildlife Refuge)
This whole coastal region for 40 miles either direction (known as the Forgotten Coast) shows Old Florida as it once was around the complete state while the Indians & Spanish were only here
