June 1, Saturday: 10 am—6 pm Revolving Paddle Trip
Launching throughout the day from a private access in Pickens County and paddling 2.6 miles to Dolly Cooper Sports Complex. Approximate paddle time is 40 minutes.
Bring your own kayaks, canoes or tubes. If you don't have a boat a fleet of Grady's Great Outdoors kayaks will be on hand for those new to the sport, and to allow you to try out crafts free of charge. Saluda River Rafting will also have tubes available for your use.
Festivities at the park will include outdoor exhibitors and organizations, food, and Blue Grass Music.
June 2, Sunday: 1 pm
Single launch from Dolly Cooper Sports Complex, paddling 9.2 miles south to the Town of Piedmont with water rescue escort. Approximate paddle time is 3—4 hours.
Reservations to rent kayaks for the Sunday paddle may be made at Grady's Great Outdoors prior to the event or on site on Saturday.
Sunday: 5 pm—7 pm Rally Wrap-up
The rally will end in Piedmont at the Saluda River Grill. A BBQ dinner will be available to all the participants with donations for the dinner going to Special Olympics Area 14. A shuttle will take you from the access point to the Wrap up and then back to your vehicle.
